New Orleans Council for Business Economics, NOCBE

Chartered in 1972 as an affiliate of the National Association for Business Economics (www.nabe.com), the New Orleans Council for Business Economics is one of the oldest continuous business organizations in Southeast Louisiana.  Its members are economists, academicians and financial executives from throughout the region.

NOCBE provides a forum for discussing issues affecting the local, state and national economies.  Our objective is to enhance economic knowledge and understanding  through informed discussion and debate.

Luncheon meetings are held monthly from September through May.  No meetings are held from June through August. Speakers include economists, elected officials, industry and community leaders, and other prominent persons whose perspectives on the local, state and regional economies are of interest to our members.
